Police Search for Nevada Mom Who Allegedly Abducted 5 Children

Authorities in Las Vegas are searching for a 29-year-old woman who allegedly abducted her five children, Fox5Vegas.com reports.

Nashana Islas was last seen May 7 riding as a passenger in a newer gray Honda with Nevada plates, police said. The license plate numbers are not known.

Authorities are describing the case as a parental abduction and say Islas may be trying to return to Mexico to visit family.

The children are ages 2 through 9, according to the station.

Islas is described as a Hispanic woman, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. She has black hair, brown eyes and a medium complexion, police say.
