Police say Texas father killed infant, toddler

GRAHAM, Texas – A North Texas man accused of killing his 6-month-old and 2-year-old children is jailed on a capital murder charge.

Authorities won't say how the kids died or where they were found in Graham, about 75 miles northwest of Fort Worth.

Graham police say the bodies were found early Thursday morning after a 10-hour search by several law enforcement agencies and a Texas game warden.

Relatives had called police Wednesday night over concerns about the children's safety. Authorities won't say what led to the arrest of their father, 28-year-old Gabriel Armandariz. He is jailed in Young County on $1.5 million bond.

A jail official says Armandariz doesn't have an attorney.

Graham is a rural community of about 9,000 residents and is known for its outdoor recreational activities.
