More than 1 million homes and businesses still lacked power Wednesday, and at least 27 deaths, including one in Canada, were blamed on the storm through traffic accidents, electrocutions or other causes.
More than a half-million without power, down from more than 800,000. Head of the state's largest utility says it's on track to get 99 percent of customers back on line by Sunday. At least six deaths reported.
Only scattered outages remain, down from more than 40,000.
More than 200,000 without power, down from more than 670,000.
About 72,000 without power, down from 315,000.
About 167,000 without power, down from 700,000. Some school districts still closed.
About 65,000 without power Wednesday morning, down from more than 300,000.
About 45,000 without power, down from about a half-million. At least eight deaths reported.
